Monaco's annual National Day celebrations took place over the weekend, and Princess Charlene went all in on a color scheme this year. The royal opted for a bold, red shade for the morning's appearance on the balcony and in front of the royal palace, then a deeper shade of crimson for a gala later in the evening.

When the princess joined her husband, Prince Albert, and their twin children, Prince Jacques and Princess Gabriella, on the balcony of the palace to wave to well-wishers, she wore a long-sleeved crewneck dress by Didierangelo with a coordinating hat by Stephen Jones and Graff ruby earrings. As the royal family made their way out to the palace grounds, Charlene topped the look with a double-breasted coat by her dress designer, and showed off her burgundy Manolo Blahnik Pamfilo suede boots. To make for an adorable mommy-and-me moment, Princess Gabriella wore a navy blue mini version of her mom's look with patent leather Betsina mary-janes by Christian Louboutin.

Prince Jacques, meanwhile, matched with his dad, wearing a military uniform.

In the evening, Charlene swapped into a more glamorous ensemble, with a glittering, sequined gown in a smoky scarlet, also by Didierangelo with Cartier earrings for a gala at the Grimaldi Forum.

It was just the latest in a string of appearances the princess has made since September, after rumors began circulating that Charlene and Albert's marriage might be breaking up. Recent weeks have seen the royals out and about together at a number of events including to the Rugby World Cup finals in Paris in October.
