BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Freshman Karsen Vesty of Boston University men's track and field was chosen as the men's rookie of the week, the Patriot League announced Monday.   Vesty competed in the mile at the John Thomas Terrier Classic, running a 4:07.51. He is the top freshman in the mile in the Patriot League and is fourth-fastest overall.    Graduate student Foster Malleck received an honorable mention for men's track athlete of the week. His 7:56.78 in the 3,000m is fourth in BU history, first in the Patriot League and 42nd in the NCAA.   The Terriers will be back at home this weekend when BU hosts the Bruce Lehane Scarlet & White Invite on Saturday.
