Live report: KKR confirm top-two finish, GT eliminated

A combination of lightning and rain forced the first abandoned game of IPL 2024 in Ahmedabad on Monday, and in the process confirmed two things: Kolkata Knight Riders' top-two finish in the league stage and Gujarat Titans' elimination from playoff contention.

Sorry for giving ya'll false hope, folks. Just when it looked like a toss was possible, the teams have come together to shake hands and end the suspense. A shame for the GT fans who would've wanted to see their team play their last home game of the season.
