KZN premier pays tribute to Mbongeni Ngema

DURBAN - Tributes are pouring in from around the world for acclaimed playwright Mbongeni Ngema.

Ngema passed away after he was involved in a head-on collision.

The legendary theatre director is hailed for his work which focused on the fight for liberation from apartheid.

KwaZulu-Natal's premier has called on communities to take Ngema's legacy forward by supporting the arts.
