Serie A: Roma vs. Juventus - probable line-ups - Football Italia

Daniele De Rossi and Massimiliano Allegri look set to name their strongest available line-ups for the meeting of Roma and Juventus at the Stadio Olimpico in Serie A on Sunday evening.

The hosts, who go in search of a victory after Thursday’s 2-0 Europa League loss to Bayer Leverkusen, have practically their entire squad available. Romelu Lukaku and Chris Smalling both featured heavily mid-week, although the latter could be rested this time out.

It is a similar situation in terms of injuries and suspensions for Juventus as well. Although, Allegri confirmed in his pre-match press conference that Alex Sandro and Kenan Yildiz would miss out after coming down with gastroenteritis.

Sunday’s game will be a key fixture in the race for Champions League football next season, particularly for Roma.

They currently find themselves in fifth in Serie A, which is enough to qualify for the Champions League due to Italy’s additional spot for 2024-25, however, Atalanta sit just two points behind the Giallorossi with an extra game in hand.

Kick-off in the capital is due at 19.45 GMT.

Roma (4-3-3): Svilar; Celik, Llorente, Ndicka, Angelino; Cristante, Paredes, Pellegrini; Dybala, Lukaku, Zalewski.

Juventus (3-5-2): Szczesny; Gatti, Bremer, Danilo; Cambiaso, Mckennie, Locatelli, Rabiot, Kostic; Vlahovic, Chiesa.
