Roma have significantly improved their attacking output since Daniele De Rossi’s appointment in January.

Over the course of the past two months, De Rossi was able to effectively communicate his ideas to the team, allowing numerous players (including ones off the bench) to get involved and find their way onto the Giallorossi’s scoresheet.

The return leg with Brighton was the first instance in 12 games that Roma did not find the back of the net with De Rossi at the helm.

According to Corriere della Sera, Roma have the best attack in the league since De Rossi’s appointment: 22 goals in 8 matches, one more than Inter.

Heading into the match with Sassuolo, Roma brace themselves for a fixture that is notorious for its high number of chances and goals scored: 67 goals in 21 games over the course of the years.
