Dani Alves' Agents BREAKS Silence, Rubbishes Claims Of Ex Barcelona Footballer Committing Suicide In Prison

Representatives of Dani Alves have emphatically refuted rumors suggesting that the Barcelona legend has tragically taken his own life while incarcerated. Alves, who has been serving a prison sentence in Spain for sexual assault, has become the subject of unwarranted speculation. Brazilian journalist Paulo Albuquerque's remarks seemed to fuel these baseless rumors.

The reports have been swiftly dispelled by Dani Alves' representatives. Following communication with his legal team, the player's press officer has unequivocally dismissed the allegations.

"Daniel Alves' press office, after contacting the former player's lawyer, denies the rumor circulated this evening," journalist Marcelo Bechler posted on X.

"People, for the love of God, what sort of repercussion is this? I was referring to my cousin Danielzinho from the city of Nova Iguacu who had disappeared, but has now been found alive'', on the other hand Albuquerque tweeted.

''How cruel human beings can be! He's already been convicted on the word of a woman who entered a men's toilet to do what only he and her know. He's already been convicted. Is that not enough?", Dani Alves' brother reacted to the claims.

"Now the madness is people want him dead. They want to see my brother dead. How cruel is that! My dad is more than 70 years old and my mum is more than 60. Do people like this not have family?", he further added.

On February 22, Barcelona icon Dani Alves received a sentence of four and a half years in prison. Recent unfounded rumors about his well-being have sparked concerns among fans and followers. Mr. Felleger, a journalist representing Alves, has swiftly refuted these rumors and recommended pursuing legal action against the individual responsible for spreading them.

''The information was posted on X without any basis whatsoever. I spoke with Dani's lawyer and this irresponsible person should be sued'', Felleger said.
