Both Arsenal and Chelsea have had very different stats to the season, with the Gunners unbeaten and joint-first in the Premier League whille the Blues sit in 11th. A huge 1-0 win over Manchester City in their last outing handed Arsenal a big boost in their title challenge as the Blues picked up a third consecutive win across all competitions in their last game with Mauricio Pochettino's side finally starting to find some good form.

Last season, Arsenal beat Chelsea in both meetings, winning 1-0 at Stamford Bridge before a comfortable 3-1 win at the Emirates Stadium. So, who could emerge victorious on Saturday? Let's take a look.

We simulated Chelsea vs Arsenal to get a score prediction

To complete this simulation, we used EA FC 24 and updated the squads with the latest injuries and suspensions.

We predict that Chelsea could line up in a 4-3-3 formation, with their line-up as follows: Sanchez; Gusto, Disasi, Silva, Colwill; Enzo, Caicedo, Gallagher; Palmer, Jackson, Sterling.

We predict that the Gunners could set up in a 4-3-3 formation, with their line-up as follows: Raya; White, Saliba, Gabriel, Zinchenko; Partey, Rice, Odegaard; Saka, Jesus, Martinelli.

29 minutes in, Levi Colwill was sent off for a last-man challenge on Bukayo Saka in the box resulting in a penalty being awarded to Arsenal. It was a disastrous start for the Blues, but they were let off as Saka fired the resulting spot kick down the middle of the goal and into the grasp of Robert Sanchez.

Arsenal failed to take advantage of having the extra man as they missed some big chances but, as the game went on, it was Chelsea who started to look the better side. The Blues were creating some big chances, and two goals in the space of four minutes left the Gunners shocked and 2-0 down.

The first goal came when a corner in the box was half-cleared into the path of Axel Disasi and the defender managed to blast home from close range. Noni Madueke was introduced off the bench and the winger capitalised on a poor back-pass from Gabriel to surge through on goal, round David Raya and tap into an empty net to double the lead just two minutes after the opener.

Momentum was on Chelsea's side and, 11 minutes after the second goal, Madueke struck again, this time ghosting in behind Oleksandr Zinchenko to tap in Raheem Sterling's driven cross at the back post. It was a disastrous performance from Mikel Arteta's side, and in the 89th minute, the situation was made even worse when Chelsea bagged a fourth.

Martin Odegaard had his name taken when he slid in late on Malo Gusto, resulting in a free-kick in a dangerous position for the Blues. Enzo Fernandez whipped a cross towards the penalty spot, and Moises Caicedo beat Ben White in the air to loop a header over Raya and make it 4-0.
