TEAM NEWS: CITY v LIVERPOOL U21s

5 Dec 2023
Bradford City

Graham Alexander has named three changes from last week’s victory over Forest Green Rovers, ahead of this evening’s Bristol Street Motors Trophy visit of Liverpool’s under-21s.

Colin Doyle’s suspension gives Harry Lewis his first start in the competition this season, and an opportunity to keep a third-consecutive clean sheet in all competitions.

The defence sees a reshuffle as Jonathan Tomkinson and Sam Stubbs start, with as Matty Platt and Ash Taylor making way.

Clarke Oduor - who scored the final goal in the final Northern Group F fixture against Barnsley - replaces Alex Gilliead in midfield.

There is a return to the matchday squad for Alex Pattison after recovering from the injury he picked up against Tranmere Rovers at the start of October.

After missing out on the trip to Nailsworth seven days ago, there are spots for Bobby Pointon and Adam Wilson on the bench, while Emmanuel Osadebe and Harry Chapman miss out through suspension.
