Tottenham vs Liverpool live updates: Early Premier League team ...
Under Postecoglou, Tottenham have looked a completely different team to the often boring side they were under the likes of Jose Mourinho and Antonio Conte, something Klopp has identified.
"Both teams will play football, that's good news but it's a little bit also new news," said the Liverpool manager. "Because that's a different approach. Tottenham, in recent years, it was always that you played against the best counter-attacking team in the world.
"It was unbelievable what they set up there. If you lost a ball wherever, the next ball would find Kane and Kane would find Son and they will end up in a one-on-one with the goalie and it was pretty much not to defend.
"Now it is much more possession-based, it is much more based on own ideas, creative ideas and stuff like this. In the analysis we saw they have real quality but they will have found things where we are not perfect and we have found things where they were not perfect."

One game stands out among the rest: Tottenham vs Liverpool. With both teams unbeaten so far this season, we ask where the improvement in both squads has come from, and what kind of match it will produce.

Another clash fans should keep their eye on will be between two feisty South Americans.
Mercurial Tottenham centre-back Romero endured a tricky outing against Arsenal, scoring an own goal after getting into a tangle trying to block a shot from Saka before given away a penalty after a controversial handball.
He will likely come up against the equally volatile Darwin Nunez, who continues to show his worth as Liverpool premier No. 9. Much like Romero, the Uruguayan is susceptible to getting overly involved in physical and verbal battles on the pitch.
Their potential meeting promises to deliver fireworks.
Szoboszlai added another superb goal to his tally on Wednesday evening against Championship leaders Leicester, leading a few more fans to compare his influence on the team to a certain Steven Gerrard.
So, after just eight games into the Hungarian's career on Merseyside, Andy Jones looked at the comparisons — check it out below.

Dominik Szoboszlai has hit the ground running since signing for Liverpool from RB Leipzig in the summer and has already emerged as a fans' favourite at Anfield.
Klopp was asked about the 22-year-old in his pre-match press conference.
"I didn't know him, I knew him as a footballer, but not as a person before," he said. "The boy is impressive, is really smart, is really nice. A really good lad. Is close with everybody.
"You have these people who come into the room and click with everybody, he has that, charisma. He was in the team in an instant, that's clear, and was so happy to come here. It was really nice to see how much it meant to him and that's it."
As a young football fan growing up in Australia, Postecoglou was drawn to the Premier League, and Liverpool in particular.
"It was the (19)70s, so you went one of two ways: it seemed they only used to show Liverpool or Man U at the time so a couple of my best mates went Man U, so I went the other way so we could keep it interesting," said the Tottenham manager.
"Like any kid, I had the posters up on my wall, so Liverpool was my team. But you grow up, things change.
"I used to love Happy Days back then too, but I don't have pictures of The Fonz on my wall today either. So it's just the way things are."

Before coming from behind to beat Leicester 3-1 in the Carabao Cup in midweek, Liverpool continued their near-perfect start to the Premier League season.
Salah got them off to a strong start in the first half but they were pegged back moments before the break as Jarrod Bowen netted his first goal at Anfield.
On the hour, the single-goal lead was restored thanks to a chip from Darwin Nunez before Diogo Jota wrapped up the scoring in the 85th minute.
Son scored twice as Tottenham Hotspur and Arsenal played out a frantic 2-2 draw in the first north London derby of the season. Arsenal were dominant for long periods of the first half and made their superiority count when Saka’s shot from just inside the area flew in via the outstretched leg of Cristian Romero, with the strike going down as an own goal.
But Tottenham rallied and Maddison, who had found himself pushed deep for much of the half, popped up on the left wing, nipped past Saka and crossed for Son to poke in the equaliser.
Arsenal went ahead for a second time early in the second half when Romero again found himself at the centre of the action, as Ben White's close-range shot struck his arm. After a VAR review, a penalty was awarded and Saka made it 2-1 from the spot.
But the home side’s advantage lasted only a minute. Jorginho, on at the break for the injured Declan Rice, dawdled in possession and was robbed by Maddison who, in turn, teed up Son for his second equaliser.

When Liverpool spent £145million ($177m) on an extensive midfield rebuild this summer, many expected Curtis Jones to slip quietly to the fringes of Jurgen Klopp’s squad.
The academy graduate had finished last season strongly but the challenge of nailing down a place in the team became considerably greater with the new quartet of Alexis Mac Allister, Dominik Szoboszlai, Wataru Endo and Ryan Gravenberch on board.
“It doesn’t faze me,” he told The Athletic in April before the club’s spending spree. “I don’t care who we sign. I am a confident lad. I still back myself to succeed here.”
Jones has been true to his word — embracing the extra competition and playing an integral role in the new-look side that Klopp has coined “Liverpool 2.0”. Rather than be pushed down the pecking order, he’s right at the heart of his boyhood club’s exciting resurgence.

One of the crucial fights for the upper hand on the pitch will likely come on Liverpool's right wing.
Salah is Liverpool's joint-top scorer, top assist maker, penalty taker, and more.
While for Tottenham, the early performances of 20-year-old Destiny Udogie - who has only made five appearances — have impressed the club's supporters.
He recovered from a tough early spell against Arsenal star Bukayo Saka in the derby on Sunday, and will need more of the same today.
Despite the transfer window closing almost exactly a month ago, Tottenham conducted a significant piece of business during the week.
They announced the signing of 16-year-old defender Luka Vuskovic from Croatian side Hajduk Split.
The Athletic reported two weeks ago that Spurs were close to finalising a deal worth around £12m ($15m) for Vuskovic, who has signed a contract with his new side until 2030.
Spurs have fended off interest from other European clubs to secure the highly-rated youngster's signature. Vuskovic, though, is not allowed to join the Premier League side until he turns 18 — in 2025.

The team news heading into today's game is overwhelmingly positive for Liverpool.
That is because Jurgen Klopp claimed yesterday that Trent Alexander-Arnold is fit to return to the squad having trained over the last couple of days.
Unfortunately, though, there was another set back for Stefan Bajcetic with what his manager called a "tiny calf issue". Him and Thiago are the only two players who will definitely not feature for Liverpool.

Tottenham come into today's game with several injury problems to contend with.
The stars of their performance in last weekend's north London derby, Son and Maddison, were both prematurely withdrawn at the Emirates Stadium with knocks.
Speaking before today's game, Postecoglou confirmed that they were sore after the 2-2 draw and have had disrupted training weeks in the build up to today.
Brennan Johnson left the action just after the hour mark with a suspected hamstring injury and he will not available against Liverpool. Although, his manager added that it is nothing too serious.
Elsewhere, Ivan Perisic (knee), Rodrigo Bentancur (knee), Ryan Sessegnon (hamstring) and Bryan Gil (groin) continue to miss out with longer-term issues.
