Thabo Bester and Nandipha Magudumana are seen during a previous court appearance.
There was a heavy security presence as of convicted rapist and murderer Thabo Bester and his lover Dr Nandipha Magudumana's appeared in the Free State High Court in Bloemfontein on Wednesday.
The two were joined in the dock by the seven other accused - Magudumana's father Zolile Sekeleni, their gardener Zanda Moyo, Frans Makhotsa, Senohe Matsoara, Buti Masukela, Teboho Lipholo, and Joel Maketha.
Bester, Magudumana and Moyo remain in custody, while all the other accused are out on bail.
