Officials: Suspects wanted in Marble Hill shootout with police

A Wednesday night shooting in Marble Hill included both the police and the suspected robbers firing at one another, officials say.

According to the NYPD, a group of five men wearing masks made an attempted robbery of a motorcycle at 49 West 225th St. just before 9:45 p.m.

Police arrived and one of the suspects pointed a gun at the officers, fired and missed. Police returned fire and also missed. 

The suspects fled from the scene. No one was shot or injured.
