Jadon Sancho admits he is unsure where he will be playing next season.

The Borussia Dortmund winger starred against Paris Saint-Germain in the UEFA Champions League semi-final on Wednesday as Edin Terzic's side took a 1-0 lead into next week's second leg in Germany.

Sancho was at the heart of Dortmund’s best play and his display marked a man transformed since his return to his former club.

He had struggled under Erik ten Hag with Manchester United and a falling-out with the Dutchman precipitated an Old Trafford exit in January as he rejoined Dortmund on loan.

His stock and value will have both increased after his improvement in Germany, but against PSG he showed why United had shelled out for him in the first place.

He could now conceivably win the Champions League with Dortmund and then go to Euro 2024 with England if Gareth Southgate deems him good enough.

Speaking to CBS Sports after the victory, he was asked about his future given the mounting speculation, and he replied: “I really don't know. I'm focused on the present right now.”

Sancho said he had found it easy to settle in with the side given he joined them as a teenager in his first stint.

He said: “I came here at 17 so this club has helped me since day one. I'm always giving my best for the club and the fans.

“You can see and feel the yellow wall, you just can’t wait to play.”

Looking ahead to the return leg next week, Sancho also said that there was plenty of work to do.

He added: “It's not over, we’ve still got to go to Paris, hopefully we’ll get the job done there.”
