Dineo Ranaka recently shared a picture of her precious baby.

WARNING: This article contains content about suicide and may be upsetting to some readers.Manaka Ranaka has shared an update about her sister, Dineo, and her well-being, after she opened up about struggling with suicidal thoughts. Ranaka said the family was with Dineo and trying to get her all the help she needed to get out of the "very dark place" she is in.
Dineo's employer, Kaya 959, has since wished her well and announced Sizwe Dhlomo as her stand-in.

Manaka Ranaka has shared an update about her sister, Dineo, and her well-being. This after Dineo said she was struggling with suicidal thoughts. 

The Generations: The Legacy actor shared the update in the comments section on one of Dineo's posts, where she alluded to being afraid of leaving her three children behind.

"Family is with her right now, and we are trying to get her all the help she will need moving forward," Ranaka wrote.

"She is in a very dark place right now, and we are trying to get her to see the light again."

In another comment, where she offered Dineo words of encouragement, Ranaka said her sister embodied strength.

"Strength is you, and YOU are strength," she wrote. "I'm committed to showing you what that means if you can't see it or feel it."

In a series of posts Tuesday, Dineo shared that she understood souls, spirits and people who died by suicide. She said she was trying her best not to commit suicide, but it seemed to not be enough.

Hours later, Dineo's employer, Kaya 959, wished its breakfast show host well after she missed her morning show.

"The Kaya 959 family is keeping Dineo in their hearts, and we wish her healing," MD Colleen Lous said. "We also ask for privacy as Dineo gets through this difficult time."

Sizwe Dhlomo will stand in for Dineo indefinitely.
