A clip has gone viral of Cristiano Ronaldo's team-mate Abdulmajeed Al-Sulaiheem striking a wild effort over the bar during a Saudi Pro League game earlier this year, prompting a less than impressed reaction from the Portugal icon.

It's been an interesting start to life in the Middle East for Ronaldo, whose unceremonious exit from Manchester United back in December saw him become one of the highest paid players in world football after he joined Al-Nassr in a whopping £175million-a-year deal.

But it's been a difficult start to life at the new club for the five-time Ballon d'Or winner who was seen becoming more and more frustrated as his side slowly slipped away from winning the Saudi Pro League.

Their rivals Al-Ittihad would go on to over take them in the league standings to claim the title, with Ronaldo being left distraught after failing to pick up a trophy in his first season at the club.

Prior to that, rumours started to circulate that the 38-year-old had wanted to leave his new side only nine months after joining, with several other outbursts attracting the attention of fans.

A viral clip has shown Cristiano Ronaldo (pictured) seeming to become frustrated with an Al-Nassr team-mate

Abdulmajeed Al-Sulaiheem let fly from around 30 yards with his shot sailing well over the bar

Ronaldo could then be seen stood in the middle of the box with his hands on his hips in exasperation

Ronaldo was seen fuming at his own bench after Al-Nassr crashed out of the King Cup of Championship and kicked a water bottle after his side lost 1-0 to Al-Ittihad in March.

On top of those outbursts, he was also seen arguing with opposition fans after his new club drew to Al-Feiha back in April.

More recently, he was seen throwing water at a camera man during his side's Arab Club Champions Cup game against Al-Shabab.

Ronaldo has been playing pretty well for his new side, returning 14 goals in 16 matches last season, but things haven't gone all his own way.

And the ex-Real Madrid forward's frustrations are starting to become more apparent, with footage going viral of the forward notably being left speechless with one of his team-mates last season.

The clip sees his team-mate Al-Sulaiheem lash a wild shot over the crossbar from long range during Al-Nassr's 3-1 win against Abha back in March.

Instead of playing a pass out wide or a cross into the box where Ronaldo is waiting, the midfielder opts to put his laces through the ball, sending it way over the bar.

Ronaldo watches on in the video as the ball careers high into the air and out for a goal kick, before placing his hands on his hips in exasperation.

The five-time Ballon d'Or winner has had an in-different start to life in the Middle East, expressing his frustration with several outbursts towards the end of the 2021-22 season

Fans have been reacting to the viral clip with one admitting 'you'd have to pay me half a billion dollars to play with this guy'

Fans took to Twitter to comment on the clip, with one writing: 'Ronaldo hands on his head looking down thinking, should have went to the MLS'

One user added: 'You'd have to pay me half a billion dollars to play with this guy too.'

'Ronaldo is putting up with a lot,' said another.

It comes after Ronaldo recently admitted that the Saudi Pro League was better than the MLS.

His comments came after long-standing rival, Lionel Messi, completed his move to Inter Miami CF at the start of the summer, while also admitting he would not be returning to another European club in his career.

He claimed earlier this year that he would not be moving back to a European club while also admitting the 'Saudi Pro League was better than the MLS'

Those comments notably came after Lionel Messi completed his move to Inter Miami CF at the start of the summer

'The Saudi league is better than the MLS,' he said, according to Fabrizio Romano.

'I'm 100 per cent sure I won't return to any European club. I opened the way to the Saudi league and now all the players are coming here.

'I won't return to European football, the door is completely closed,' he added.

'The Spanish league does not have that great quality. The Portuguese league is a good league, but it is not a top, top league. The German league I think has also lost a lot. I'm sure I won't play in Europe again. I want to play in Saudi Arabia.'
