Dani Olmo Promises Glory to Barcelona Fans
Dani Olmo, the latest addition to Barcelona, made it clear during his presentation at the Joan Gamper Trophy that his goal upon returning to the club where he started is simple: "I’ve come to win."
“We’ve got a great team, amazing fans, and we’re a top club. We’re going for it all this season,” said Olmo, who recently won the Euro with Spain, just minutes before playing in the traditional Joan Gamper Trophy match against Mónaco.
Olmo expressed that he’s “very happy” to be back home and is “eager” to wear the blaugrana shirt and badge again. Meanwhile, Pau Víctor, who joined this summer from Girona after spending last season on loan with Barça Atlètic, said it’s “an honor” to wear the blaugrana jersey.
“It’s been a dream since I was a kid to play here, and doing it at the Gamper is special. I’ll give it my all every day to bring you joy and live up to this great club,” the young forward promised the fans at the Estadio Olímpico Lluís Companys.
