Arsenal owner Stan Kroenke unlocks new revenue stream with ...

Arsenal owner Stan Kroenke has proved adept at diversifying his revenue streams while he enjoys a golden period with his sporting teams. Everything is going right for Kroenke, who owns the Gunners along with American sports teams Los Angeles Rams, Denver Nuggets and Colorado Rapids through his Kroenke Sports & Entertainment vehicle.

Also owned by KSE are two professional esports teams, four television channels and 19 magazines as well as radio stations through its Altitude Sports and Entertainment subdivision as well as the brand new SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles. It's a behemoth of an organisation that has seen its teams come good in recent years, with the Nuggets landing a maiden National Basketball Association title earlier this year and the Rams netting a Super Bowl two years ago.

Arsenal have massively improved over the past couple of years and were on the verge of a Premier League title win last season and topped the table before Liverpool beat Burnley 2-0 on Boxing Day. It's not just about sports teams with KSE, though.

Kroenke is now earning plaudits for the success of his SoFi Stadium and accompanying YouTube Theater setup, which has wowed with its stunning architecture and ability to host top events. Currently, SoFi Stadium - a 70,000 capacity arena with scope for up to 100,000 to attend major events - is being used by the Rams and fellow NFL team Los Angeles Chargers.

Where it will likely be getting its biggest reach, though, is by being featured in the Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour concert film, which was produced over three shows at SoFi Stadium in August earlier this year. The film grossed a massive $203 million in just three weeks since it was released in November and the decision to film it at the SoFi Stadium came about because of the venue's stunning backdrop.

The arena has already played host to worldwide superstars BTS and Bad Bunny, seeing Kroenke unlock another potential revenue stream as he continues to try and put his sports teams on top. "It was Stan Kroenke's vision to create a sports and entertainment destination that was inspired by Southern California but made for a global audience," Christy Castillo Butcher, a senior vice president at the SoFi Stadium said.

"Being in Los Angeles, we are in the entertainment capital of the world, where there are a lot of creatives and resources that tours can tap into. Our cutting-edge technology, and the modern, sleek design of the stadium are visually appealing backdrops for filmmakers."

Swift played six shows at SoFi Stadium and is reported to have made a whopping $1 billion from her Eras Tour altogether and, crucially, has showcased Kroenke's vision to the world. Expect to see more of the same as Kroenke puts his marquee stadium to use on days where NFL games or pre-season football matches are not being played as he continues to try and maximise the revenue streams available to him in an ultra-competitive sporting environment.
