Princess Charlene and Prince Albert put on a fine display of typical Monegasque elegance over the weekend. The couple were in the luxurious alpine ski resort of Courchevel, the holiday destination known for bringing flocks of the wealthy elite to its snow-covered slopes. The two were there for a charity gala in aid of the Princess Charlene foundation of Monaco as well as the Courchevel Sports Club. This was the second iteration of the gala and was chaired by both the Prince and billionaire CEO of Ineos Sir James Ratcliffe.

The Princess continued to manifest her signature aura of sophistication. She wore a striking strapless jump suit with a cropped jacket and metallic heeled pumps from Gianvito Rossi. Prince Albert was the perfect companion for his wife’s chic style, in a navy-blue jacket, which had the ski club's emblem sewn on it.

Though more recently it has been a quieter time for the royals, Monaco’s most famous family did commence the year with a medley of events. They were most recently photographed with their two children Prince Jacques and Princess Gabriella at a basketball match at Monaco’s Salle Gaston Médecin indoor arena. Charlene looked every inch the caring mother, as she was seen tentatively looking after her daughter. The Princess was radiant in a camel-coloured Louis Vuitton Double Face Hooded Jacket, topped off with a white jumper.

The family also took part in a historic tradition of the Principality. In January, the family of four were seen during the annual boat-burning ceremony. The event commemorates Sainte Dévote, Monaco’s patron saint who was killed during the Diocletianic Persecution. The family kissed the boat, before setting it ablaze in what was a thrilling sight for all.
