FC Barcelona's 300th game in the Champions League

There are many things that make today's game with Napoli special, and one of the many is the fact that it's the 300th match that FC Barcelona have played in the Champions League, only counting games since the tournament adopted its new guise in the 1992-93 season.

Of the 33 editions of the new format European Cup, Barça have been involved in 29, only missing out on four and none since 2003/04.

Barça's record in the 299 games played so far, and pending the outcome of today's encounter with Napoli, is 176 wins (considerably more than half), 67 draws and 56 defeats, with an overall goal difference of 592 for and 307 against.
