The newly arranged fixtures of the CAF Confederation Cup in group B are set to work against Nigeria's representative, Enyimba International, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The defending champions Zamalek SC wrote a letter to CAF and Black Bulls to play their next home game of the competition in Cairo instead of Maputo.

The recent political unrest in Maputo, the capital of Mozambique, has caused a lot of issues, which led to Enyimba International being trapped for a few days.

After much deliberations, the Black Bulls management finally agreed to have their next home game against Zamalek at the Cairo International Stadium. The stadium is also the original home of Zamalek.

The whole arrangement made the qualification of the People's Elephant more difficult as it handed Zamalek a huge advantage over them.

The Confederation Cup will resume on the 5th of January, 2025.
