Young Thug has readied a new album from behind bars and it arrives on Friday (June 23).

The project appears to be titled Business Is Businessand will serve as Thugger’s first release since being arrested as part of the sweeping YSL RICO case.

“BUSINESS IS BUSINESS THE ALBUM AVAILABLE WORLDWIDE TONIGHT!! DROP SOME [fire] IF YOU READY #FREETWIN I LOVE YOU BRO,” Metro Boomin’s Instagram caption read, signaling his involvement in the effort.

Thug added on IG: “BUSINESS IS BUSINESS TONIGHT.”

The black and white cover art features the YSL boss in the courtroom looking toward the exit while everyone else he’s flanked by in suits stares ahead toward the judge’s chair.

Drake appears to be featured on Business Is Business as well, as he added to the hype with an Instagram post featuring the project’s cover.

“you owe me this time…midnight @thuggerthugger1,” the 6 God wrote.

Thugger received plenty of love in his comment section from Hip Hop peers such as A$AP Rocky, Rich the Kid, Don Toliver and more.

Business Is Business is slated to be Young Thug’s first album since 2021’s Punk, which debuted atop the Billboard 200 with 90,000 album-equivalent units sold in the first week.

Last week, Thug posted a cryptic “Business Is Business” QR code to Instagram fueling fans’ belief that a return to music was on the horizon.

Aside from Young Metro and London, 808 Mafia producer Southside posted the QR code four times alongside the caption: “Overly free slime,” while Wheezy and Chase B also shared duplicate posts.

A slew of Thugga’s rap peers showed their support for the YSL leader, who is currently incarcerated as part of the ongoing YSL RICO Case, including Trippie Redd, Yeat, and Jacquees.

Young Thug will remain in prison until his fate is decided in the slow-moving YSL RICO trial, which remains in the jury selection process a year after his arrest.
