Vusi Nova's show put on ice!

The event was scheduled to take place on 14 September at Carnival City in Boksburg, Ekurhuleni.

The 38-year-old Joburg-based musician, whose real name is Vusi Nongxa, said it was put on hold due to unforeseen circumstances and logistical challenges.

On Thursday, 5 September, the Nomakanjani hitmaker's team released a statement apologising to his supporters for cancelling the show.

They expressed how they felt.

"Dear Snowville fans and supporters, unfortunately, due to unforeseen circumstances and logistical challenges, we regret to announce that our upcoming show, Snowville, scheduled for 14th September 2024 at Carnival City, has been postponed," the release said.

They said the decision to postpone Snowville was not taken lightly.

“It's essential to ensure that we deliver a world-class experience worthy of Vusi Nova's monumental milestones. Our priority remains to create a spectacular event that matches the grand vision of Snowville: a Winter Wonderland, celebrating Vusi Nova's first-ever one-man show," the statement read.

They further said that this additional time will allow them to enhance production quality, elevating both the visual and audio experience to align with Vusi's vision.

"We're currently negotiating additional brand partnerships that will bring extra value and exciting giveaways to our attendees. We're working hard to fully integrate these collaborations and enhance the overall experience to ensure that Snowville is a night to remember," they said.

They said that they'll be in touch with all ticket holders, who will be contacted directly by Computicket regarding refunds or the transfer of their tickets to a new date once it is confirmed.

"We truly appreciate your continued support as we work diligently to bring you the ultimate Snowville experience. Thank you for standing by Vusi Nova as he celebrates these incredible milestones over the last decade in the music industry, and being a significant part of his journey to this point," they said.
