Usher keeps up festivities as he weds 'amazing partner' Jennifer ...

This weekend was a big one for Usher. Not only did he headline the Super Bowl to rave reviews, but he also married his long-term girlfriend, Jennifer Goicoechea.

According to People, the pair tied the knot in an intimate ceremony in Las Vegas at the Vegas Weddings' Terrace Gaze. According to the marriage certificate, his mother, Jonnetta Patton, was the couple's witness.

A representative of the singer confirmed the news to the publication: "We can confirm that Usher and Jennifer Goicoechea took the next step in their relationship and did get married on Sunday night in Las Vegas surrounded by close friends and family.

"They both look forward to continuing to raise their children together surrounded by love and thank everyone for the well wishes."

E! News reports that Usher and Jennifer obtained a marriage license on 8 February in Clark County, Nevada.

The Yeah singer and the music executive first sparked dating rumours in 2019. In 2020, they welcomed their first child, daughter Sovereign Bo (3) and in 2021, son Sire Castrello (2).

He told People magazine about his relationship with Jennifer that they committed "to life for life together because of their children".

"And we're going to be in each other's lives until we die, obviously, because we have something to share. That's beautiful. Our children. But not because of that. I really do feel like I have an amazing partner that I respect."

This is Usher's third marriage. In 2007, he married Tameka Foster, with whom he shares sons Usher Raymond V (16) and Naviyd (15). The pair divorced in 2009 after two years of marriage. In 2015, the Grammy winner married former music executive Grace Harry; the pair split in 2018.
