Mamelodi Sundowns and Royal AM have announced their starting line-ups for this evening’s Betway Premiership encounter at Loftus Versfeld Stadium.

High-flying Sundowns return to league action as they look to go level on points with Orlando Pirates and move back to the summit.

The defending league champions are on a run of six straight wins in a row in all competition having scored 21 goals including their resounding 5-0 victory over Golden Arrows.

Manqoba Mngqithi and his troops look to continue with their fine form before starting their CAF Champions League group stage campaign.

Meanwhile, Royal AM haven’t had the worst of starts in the league as they unbeaten despite their off-field issues. They have picked up four points from their four consecutive draws with three of them being goalless. Thwihli Thwahla were however eliminated from the Carling Knockout Cup after suffering a 3-0 defeat to Cape Town City last weekend.

John Maduka made in clear over the weekend that their aim is to survive relegation and finish in a comfortable place and a bonus would be finishing inside the top eight.

In the history of this fixture, Sundowns has never lost to Royal AM. In the past five games Downs managed to score 14 goals and the KwaZulu Natal based side scored three goals.
