Kaizer Chiefs head coach Arthur Zwane is confident on building on his first season at the club amid speculation on his future.

Chiefs' 1-0 loss to Cape Town City cast further doubt on Mangethe's future with the result seeing the club suffer their 12th loss of the league season, and fall down to fifth place, getting leapfrogged by Tinkler's troops.

Zwane says he's developed a thick skin after a disappointing first season and is confident he can take lessons learnt from this season into mounting a stronger challenge for the 2023/24 campaign.

Here's how the readers reacted to the "Zwane Responds To Speculation On His Chiefs Future" story:

"Everyone goes through that phase coach, whether in life at large or in their positions at work, so take that with you and grow as a person and as a coach in your career, don't worry about what other people think and say about you," says emmanueltankiso.

"You did a good job, your mandate is to be in the top 8, salute," says crronaldomphoza.

"Rome was not built in one day, so it is said. It is true, most teams triple their efforts when against such an institution and their endeavor or target, it’s an achievement to beat Chiefs.

"That's their objective, that is why you see Chippa United and Maritzburg United in position 14 and 15. Others with those kinds of objectives are in the middle positions," says Soccer Fanatic.

Mamelodi Sundowns head coach Rulani Mokwena explained what could make them an even better team next season after lifting the DStv Premiership trophy last Tuesday and getting knocked out of the CAF Champions League on Saturday.

Despite their impressive season, Mokwena still believes the side can get better, taking the number of injuries they suffered this season into account.

Prominent ballers Peter Shalulile, Abdelmounaim Boutouil, Abubeker Nassir, Lebohang Maboe, and Rivaldo Coetzee among other missed a huge chunk of this season, with Downs still managing to almost break their own league points record.

Here's how the readers reacted to the "Mokwena: You Forget Shalulile Missed Half The Season" story:

"I would loan him (Rulani) out to Chippa United and bring him back after two seasons. He's a waste of money!" says Gizaretti.

"You cannot spend so much money for a quarter and semi-finals finish in the CAF champions League. For me, Sundowns are Africa’s PSG. Whoever they sign, [were] signed looking at the Champions League's demanding schedule yet that Champions League doesn’t come," says Tolly-the-Return who added:

"We are still waiting for the second star that we were promised that it will be achieved this season (before OPFC achieves theirs)."

"Truth must be told, Sundowns were much better than any team in South Africa, if not Africa as a whole, to win a league with games to spare and the second team being happy the way they did it shows that there's no match for them," says [email protected]

"Rulani knows nothing, he only got big mouth and sabotaging other coaches. Rulani is a plumber. Manqoba is better than this boy," says sbumtambo103.

"Only Shalulile is regular, the others, even when they're injury free, they watch on the stands. Who is fooling who," says user454193.
