Manchester United-linked Pedro Goncalves has shared a clear Ruben Amorim message to his Sporting Clube de Portugal teammates ahead of another Liga Portugal match.
Sporting will play Moreirense away from home on Thursday evening, while Goncalves will be watching from the side-lines as he recovers from a muscular injury. Taking to Instagram this morning, he shared Sporting's pre-match graphic and used a famous Amorim saying - with the head coach now at United.
"They only beat us if we stop being a team," he posted - referencing to their former head coach. "Let's go friends, we're all in this together."

Since Amorim's arrival at Old Trafford, there has been growing speculation over Goncalves' future in Lisbon. Reports have claimed a reunion could be on the cards for the Portuguese manager and Pote - as he's famously known.

The Daily Mail previously reported he's one to watch ahead of the transfer window opening next month. However, Amorim has already ruled out signing any of his former Sporting players in the new year, but it has been suggested that a deal could be completed next summer.
With Pote set to remain out until 2025, the 26-year-old winger is unlikely to attract a winter switch elsewhere. This could work in the favour of United, should they decide to pursue a move for him at the end of the season.
Sporting have stuck a £66million (€80m) price tag on Goncalves, who Amorim is a clear admirer of. "He can play for any team in the world and with any player because he is a great player. I could take him anywhere," the United boss said as per Portuguese outlet Record.
"He's very funny - which improves our relationship - but he's also very intelligent. However, he also has to focus on Sporting because we have to be champions this year, but also as a Sporting coach, I say he could play for any team in the world."
