Southampton vs Tottenham

We can confirm the starting line-ups and substitutes for this evening’s Premier League encounter with Southampton (kick-off 7pm UK).

Ange Postecoglou has made five changes to the team that started in our Europa League fixture with Rangers on Thursday evening.

For the first time in his Spurs career, Djed Spence starts a game as he is brought in from the off with Pedro Porro rotated out as he is named amongst our substitutes.

Pape Matar Sarr returns to the starting XI for his seventh consecutive Premier League start while Lucas Bergvall earns his full Premier League debut as he makes his first start in the competition. The duo replace the suspended pair Yves Bissouma and Rodrigo Bentancur.

Meanwhile, Dejan Kulusevski and Dominic Solanke, who came off the bench to link up for our equaliser in the 1-1 draw with Rangers, are both called on to start at St Mary’s.

Of our nine substitutes, six have come through our Academy (Brandon Austin, Alfie Dorrington, Maeson King, Malachi Hardy, Callum Olusesi and Will Lankshear) with defender King named in a Premier League matchday squad for the first time.

Here’s how we line up…

Starting XI: Forster; Spence, Gray, Dragusin, Udogie; Sarr, Bergvall, Maddison; Kulusevski, Solanke, Son (c)

Substitutes: Austin, Porro, Dorrington, King, Hardy, Olusesi, Werner, Johnson, Lankshear.

Southampton, meanwhile, line up as follows...
