The Confédération Africaine de Football (“CAF”) is saddened by the news of the sudden passing of Zambian international, Justin Shonga.

Shonga, 27, sadly passed away on Sunday, 30 June 2024 in Lusaka. He played for Nkwazi FC in Lusaka before joining South Africa’s Orlando Pirates.

He represented Zambia 33 times.

CAF President, Dr Patrice Motsepe conveys heartfelt condolences to the family of Justin Shonga, Football Association of Zambia (“FAZ”), as well as the entire Zambian Football Family.

May Justin Shonga's soul rest in eternal peace.
