September 24, (THEWILL) – Following their 2-1 victory over Valladolid in the 7th round of La Liga where Nigerian international, Chidera Ejuke, netted the winner, Sevilla players received a surprise in the dressing room. The club announced that they have extended the contract of Head Coach Javier García Pimienta until 2027.

Pimienta, who took charge of Sevilla this summer, led Las Palmas last season, finishing 16th in La Liga with 40 points from 38 matches. Under his leadership, Sevilla has secured two wins in seven matches, accumulating 8 points so far.
