Pirates Announce Passing Of Loanee - iDiski Times
Orlando Pirates have announced the sad passing Setjhaba Mofokeng, who was on loan at Wits at the time of his passing.
The 19-year-old joined Pirates from Brits Soccer Academy in the North West Province in 2022 and initially played for the club’s U19 side.
But last season, the left-back featured for the DStv Diski Challenge team before being loaned out to ABC Motsepe League side Wits FC this campaign.
“Orlando Pirates Football Club is deeply saddened by the passing of Setjhaba Mofokeng,” the club stated on Friday.
“We extend our heartfelt condolences to his family, friends, and teammates during this difficult time.
“Setjhaba, who was on loan at Wits at the time of his passing, was part of our 2023/24 DDC team.
“Rest in peace, Setjhaba.”
