While Pellegrini returned to the capital with his tail tucked between his legs, it wasn't all bad news for the Giallorossi over the break. Star forward Artem Dovbyk managed to stave off some lingering knee inflammation before returning to action today against Inter Milan.

And if you've followed the club through its first seven matches, you've likely spotted an alarming trend: Roma can't seem to hit the broad side of a barn. While Ivan Juric's side typically dominates possession, the Giallorossi have been held to one goal or fewer in five of their first seven matches, tallying only eight league goals thus far.

We can quibble about coaching changes, tactical preferences, and lineup choices all we want, but if the club can't score, it's a fait accompli—you're not going to win many matches with that level of inefficiency, especially not against today's opponent, reigning champions Inter Milan.
