Ivan Juric sacked after just 12 matches as Roma manager leaving ...
Ivan Juric has been sacked as manager of Roma after a disappointing start to the season.
Juric only replaced Roma legend Daniele De Rossi as manager of the club in September.
The Serie A side are now searching for their third manager of the 2024/25 campaign and are in 12th place in the table.
Roma owners The Friedkin Group thanked Juric for his professionalism during a difficult period for the club.
"We would like to thank Ivan Juric for his hard work these past weeks," read a statement. "He handled a difficult environment with the utmost professionalism, and for that we are grateful.
"We wish him all the best in his future endeavours.
"The search for a new head coach has already begun, and we expect an announcement in the coming days."
Juric was manager of the club for 12 fixtures, leaving with a record of four wins, five defeats and three draws.
The Serie A side were beaten 3-2 by Bologna at the Stadio Olimpico on Sunday in what turned out to be his final match in charge.
Juric leaves Roma with the club in 20th place in the UEFA Europa League table, just a point above the elimination zone.
The Croatian's predecessor, De Rossi, only replaced former Real Madrid and Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho as Roma boss in January.
