Starting XIs: Richards Bay v TS Galaxy
TS Galaxy and Richards Bay will open their Betway Premiership season when they clash on Sunday afternoon at King Zwelithini Stadium.
Galaxy will be looking to redeem themselves after they opened their campaign with a 3-1 defeat to Stellenbosch in the MTN8 quarter-finals in early August.
The Rockets had their highest finish in the Premiership after ending in sixth place on the log last term.
The Mpumalanga-based side have reinforced their squad with players such as Victor Letsoalo, Thamsanqa Masiya and Siphesihle Maduna among others.
Galaxy will be without Macbeth Mahlangu, who is suspended.
Richards Bay, on the other hand, will be starting off their season and will be hoping to avoid a relegation battle, after they saved their top flight status via the play-offs last campaign, following a 15th-placed finish.
The Natal Rich Boyz parted ways with Vusumuzi Vilakazi during the off-season and re-appointed Brandon Truter as the new head coach.
Richards Bay's notable signings include Siyethemba Sithebe, Thabiso Kutumela, Keegan Allan, Tlakusani Mthethwa and Thabang Sibanyoni among others.
