With Jude Bellingham still shelved thanks to an ankle injury, Real Madrid look to keep themselves firmly entrenched atop the La Liga table as Los Blancos host Sevilla at the Bernabeu on Sunday.
Bellingham joined the club's overflowing injury list in the emphatic 4-0 win over Girona earlier this month, and will not be available until early next month for a league road trip to Valencia. In his absence, Madrid managed to nudge past RB Leipzig in the first leg of their Champions League knockout matchup, but suffered a slight domestic slip as they drew with Rayo Vallecano last weekend.
With a host of defenders also out injured throwing the back line into turmoil, Carlo Ancelotti has done quite well to keep the ship afloat on multiple fronts, still yet to taste defeat in any competition against clubs not named Atletico Madrid.
Sevilla have yet again struggled to reflect the club's more well-established reputation on the pitch, but have dragged themselves ever so slightly away from the relegation zone of late, with a four-match unbeaten run in league play affording Quique Sanchez Flores a six-point gap between them and the bottom three.

Real Madrid vs Sevilla prediction, odds Moneyline lean: Real Madrid (-370) Score prediction: Real Madrid 2-0 SevillaReal Madrid's shakiest performances have come largely on the road this season in league play, but they've maintained a near-perfect mark at the Bernabeu. They have dropped just a single home result this season in La Liga play, drawing 0-0 against Rayo Vallecano in early November in a game they created an abundance of chances but couldn't finish.
Looking to the visitors this weekend, that's bad news for Sevilla, who have been utterly putrid on the road compared to their much more acceptable results at home. They put forth an embarrassing performance last weekend at Valencia, managing just one measly shot worth 0.04 xG, and were lucky to escape with a scoreless draw. They've put up less than 1.0 xG in six of their last seven road matches in league play, including the 3-0 win at Granada in mid-December, a performance of premium finishing which accounts for over half their five total road goals scored across that span.
Real Madrid are at a significantly reduced capacity, but they will still manage to smother Sevilla and win comfortably, even if the performance is less than convincing to the eye.

While Sevilla have struggled enormously up front on the road this La Liga season, they remain relatively stout defensively regardless of where their matches are played. They have conceded just two goals in their recent four-game unbeaten run, including an impressive 1-0 victory at home against Atletico Madrid and their latest result, a 0-0 draw at Valencia.
Madrid possess the league's most prolific attacking unit by most metrics, but looks stunted without Jude Bellingham's presence — understandable considering there's at least an argument to be made that he's the most complete player in the world, whose absence would maim any club on the planet.
Los Blancos should find enough moments to come away with the points, but relying on the spotty finish of Joselu in Bellingham's absence is not exactly a thrilling prospect.
Real Madrid vs Sevilla prop bet Pick: Sevilla -1 card handicap Odds: -120 (DraftKings)Sevilla aren't exactly a foul-happy side, in the bottom half of La Liga in total fouls, they struggle mightily with discipline at times, especially against today's opponent. Sevilla rank fourth in La Liga with 70 bookings this season, and in the last five meetings between these two clubs they have collected 17 yellow cards.
This game's assigned referee Isidro Diaz de Mera Escuderos is also historically predisposed to be wary of Sevilla's challenges. Despite ranking in the middle of the pack amongst La Liga referees for yellow cards per game this season, he's booked 12 Sevilla players in his last three matches involving today's visitors.
While picking the over 4.5 yellow cards offers too high a bar to clear for -155 odds, and Sevilla's team-specific total of 2.5 is also of little value at -175, this asian handicap is the best play.
