Real Madrid head coach Carlo Ancelotti briefly discussed transfer rumors linking his winger Vinicius Jr. with a move to Saudi Arabia and said "there are no princes or king" in his locker room with regards to the adaptation of summer signing Kylian Mbappe ahead of the UEFA iShares MSCI EAFE ETF Super Cup final.

Al-Ahli is prepared to pay a package worth a total $1.097 billion (€1 billion) for Ballon d'Or hopeful Vinicius according to Goal, with MARCA reporting that Madrid points to the winger's release clause for that same amount if the Pro League giant is serious about landing him.

Asked about such rumors ahead of his team's meeting with Atalanta, Ancelotti insisted: "There is absolutely nothing [to talk about] because it is just speculation. Nothing more."

"It's speculation and he just wants to help the team," the Italian added when again probed on the matter.

Coming off a treble winning campaign last term, Ancelotti said that "this year we have a very high-quality squad".

"I think we can achieve something very good and Saudi Arabia is not a threat. We have lost important players but we have also brought in other very good ones."

Alongside Endrick from Palmeiras, the biggest acquisition is of course Kylian Mbappe who has joined Los Blancos from Paris Saint-Germain on a free transfer.

Regarding the atmosphere in the locker room which now has so many big egos in it, Ancelotti stressed that it is "very healthy and very clean" and "all because of the players who are here and have been here".

"There are no princes or king. They have been able to combine this quality in the service of the team and that is what we want to achieve this season."

"Madrid has to win every game. There are many people who think we are the best and it is possible. We have to build the best team and that means working with all the players possible," he also remarked.

Speaking ironically, Ancelotti confessed that he has a "very big problem" on his hands when it comes to picking a starting XI.

"All summer I've been thinking about who I'm going to put in and who I'm not going to. I've ruined my holidays... No, it's the simplest thing.

"We have a lot of games and the same players aren't always going to play. Those who played less last year have contributed a lot and that could be key," he suggested.
