The 34-year-old striker is going through a really good personal moment, with more results than matches played, but without having scored in these international appearances. In the eight dates of the Eredivisie he has five goals and four assists. In the debut he assisted for the 5-1, in the second date he assisted for the 3-1, in the third he scored in the 7-1, in the fourth he gave two assists for the 3-0, in the fifth he scored in the 2-0, in the sixth he scored in the 3-1, in the eighth he did not add minutes and in the last two he scored two goals. 

Bardley Barcolá, the new jewel of the Parisian team that comes from very good performances and participation with the French National Team, will look to score the first goal of the team in the UEFA Champions League and return the victory. The 22-year-old striker is the team's top scorer in Ligue 1 with seven goals in seven starts so far this season, but, like the rest of the team, he has yet to score in the international competition since the 1-0 defeat against Girona was an own goal. On the other hand, after joining PSG in the 2023 summer transfer window, the winger has kept up the great performance and that made Didier Deschamps set his eyes on him for the senior national team. He scored in the defeat against Italy in August and he has just scored in the defeat against Israel.

These two teams have never met before, either in official matches such as continental competitions or in friendly matches in preparation for regular competitions. For this reason, this third UEFA Champions League matchday will be the kick-off in the history of PSG and PSV.

For their part, the “Granjeros” are less fortunate at the international level, as they have not yet been able to win three points in any of the two matches already played.
