Buccaneers face fresh injury concerns ahead of MTN8 opener ...

Orlando Pirates has been dealt yet another injury blow ahead of their MTN8 quarterfinal
clash against SuperSport United this weekend. The Bucs medical team has revealed to Orlandopiratesfc.com that defender Thabiso Lebitso has been ruled out of the clash against Matsatsantsa on Saturday after failing to recover from an injury he suffered in the preseason friendly against Al Sadd last month.

The hard-working right back was on the receiving end of a nasty challenge from defender Musaab Khidir. As a result of that tackle, the Bucs medical team has confirmed that Lebitso has suffered a knee injury which rules him out for at least three months. Another casualty to come out of the match against Al Sadd is Miguel Timm who is set to undergo a late fitness test. The 32-year old is currently nursing an ankle injury.
