Panyaza Lesufi reelected Gauteng premier
JOHANNESBURG - Panyaza Lesufi has been re-elected Gauteng Premier.

He was elected unopposed at the first sitting of the Gauteng Legislature on Friday.
Lesufi was first elected Premier of Gauteng in October 2022.
Gauteng judge-president Dunstan Mlambo said, "I see no other indication as a nomination for another candidate, as I mentioned earlier on the powers vested in me, I hereby announce member Panyaza Lesufi as the duly elected Premier for the province of Gauteng."
