Natural disaster insured losses in France hit nearly $11 billion

Florence Lustman, president at the Federation Francaise de l'Assurance, said that insured losses due to natural disasters in France reached €10 billion ($10.9 billion) in 2022 as hailstorms, floods and droughts become more frequent and intense, The Peninsula Qatar reported. Natural disasters cost the industry €3.5 billion on average per year between 2017-2021.
