Kwaito star Mzambiya's decision shocks fans.

HE STARTED doing music at a very young age.

Now, at age 37, he has decided to venture into other things.

Record label owner and singer Mzambiya, whose real name is Nkosinathi Mzambiya Zwane, announced that he's leaving the music scene for other ventures.

Mzambiya rose to fame in the early 2000s as one of the youngest stars in the kwaito genre.

The musician from Zola, Soweto won many people's hearts with hits such as Ghetto Luv and Bowungakanani.

He worked with many of Mzansi's well-known stars, including the late Mshoza, whose real name was Nomasonto Maswanganyi, on their hit single Kortes, released in 2003.

Mzambiya was one of the youngest stars who revolutionised the music industry during his era.

He began making music at the tender age of six, becoming the first child to bring platinum CDs to his ekasi during his time as a singer.

The musician said that Earthnurture Records continues unearthing new talent across the country and the world.

He said they'll also release music as they promised their supporters.

"I’m truly grateful for all the love since my debut in 2000. I want to express my sincere appreciation for the valuable experience and all I've learnt about the showbiz community," Mzambiya said.

The musician also thanked everyone for their support and understanding.
