BLOGGER Musa Khawula appeared in the Vredenburg Magistrates Court on Tuesday, 20 August.

And unlike his previous appearance, he arrived in court wearing the orange prison clothes.

However, his appearance was brief as the court postponed his case to 2 September to allow him to get a lawyer as his previous lawyer has abandoned him.

The infamous celebrity basher is currently serving a 60-day sentence for failing to appear in a Gauteng court. He was arrested in the Vredenburg Magistrates Court on 9 July during his appearance for murder.

Musa tried to directly address the court on 7 August to understand the circumstances of his arrest, but Magistrate Paulette Da Rocha-Boltney had none of it. She asked Musa to speak through his temporary legal representative if he had queries.

His lawyer explained to him that the issue that got him jailed was a civil matter and was handled by a Gauteng court. She told him he must serve the sentence he currently faces and then ask the Gauteng court about the issue as the Vredenberg court is dealing with his criminal case.

Musa faces a murder charge for allegedly stabbing his ex-boyfriend, Wandile Khambule, to death in March 2022. On the day of the incident, it's alleged that Musa went to the house of Wandile's girlfriend where they were having fun.

It's alleged the two former lovebirds argued in the house over an undisclosed matter. The girlfriend asked them to go outside so they could "fix their issues", but a few moments later, she heard people scream, asking Musa not to stab Wandile.

It's not clear what civil case Musa was supposed to attend as he has stepped on many toes through his X account.

Two months ago, Nozuko Mbalula, the wife of ANC secretary-general Fikile Mbalula, and her business partner, Michelle Perrow obtained an interdict against Musa to stop him from tweeting about them.
