Here's the brand new Miss Universe 2024!

Miss Denmark, Victoria Kjær Theilvig, is crowned Miss Universe 2024 in the 73rd Miss Universe Competition in Mexico City on November 16, 2024.

Victoria Kjær Theilvig from Denmark has made history by being crowned Miss Universe 2024. This is the first time a Danish contestant has won the prestigious title.

At 21 years old, Theilvig, a competitive dancer, entrepreneur, and aspiring lawyer, has triumphed over more than 120 contestants during the pageant held in Mexico City on Saturday night.

As she accepted her crown from the current titleholder, Sheynnis Palacios of Nicaragua, Theilvig received applause from her fellow contestants.

The event featured a performance by singer Robin Thicke, with the finale hosted by Mario Lopez and former Miss Universe Olivia Culpo. 

Nigeria's Chidimma Adetshina was named the first runner-up, while Mexico's Maria Fernanda Beltran secured the second runner-up position.
