An injury-struck Milan will be looking to respond on the pitch when they host an out-of-form Sassuolo.

The match between the Rossoneri and the Neroverdi kicks off at 17.00 UK time at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza in Milan.

Milan’s last outing before the Christmas break was a tough 2-2 draw with relegation candidates Salernitana, leaving the players and fans frustrated after an inconsistent first half of the season.

The Rossoneri are in the midst of an injury crisis and cannot count on Marco Sportiello, Malick Thiaw, Fikayo Tomori, Pierre Kalulu, Tommaso Pobega, Noah Okafor and Yunus Musah. Luka Jovic is also in doubt due to an ankle issue.

Sassuolo have only won one of their last five league outings, struggling to find their footing despite some positive signs earlier in the campaign.

The Neroverdi are without Daniel Boloca, Pedro Obiang, Gregoire Defrel, Agustin Alvarez, Matias Vina and Uros Racic, all of whom are out with injuries.
