Manchester United's defeat to West Ham saw them drop to eighth in the Premier League table.
The Reds lost for the eighth time in the Premier League when they were beaten by David Moyes' side on Saturday lunchtime. The defeat saw United concede twice in the second half.
Erik ten Hag's side will hope to bounce back at Old Trafford next week but face a daunting test against high-flying Aston Villa on Boxing Day. With the fixtures coming thick and fast over the festive period, there is then only one league game in January before the second half of the season gets going in February. The Reds have struggled against leading sides under Ten Hag and with West Ham and Tottenham also coming to Old Trafford, United will need to correct that issue.
