Liverpool vs Bournemouth

A disappointing week for Liverpool fans has ended in a bit of optimism with the signing of Wataru Endo from Stuttgart. The Reds began the week by losing the battle to Chelsea over the signing of Moisés Caicedo and Roméo Lavia, with the pair opting to sign for the London outfit over Liverpool.

Liverpool then made a move for the Japanese midfielder, but the 30-year-old isn't likely to feature against Bournemouth at Anfield due to his documents not making the Premier League deadline.

After the 1-1 draw against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge on the opening day, Jürgen Klopp will be looking for all three points and to get Liverpool's season kickstarted.

Bournemouth drew with West Ham on the opening day of the season, and The Cherries will be traveling to Anfield with their own aspirations of taking all three points. However, their recent track record against Liverpool doesn't make for an appealing one: just one win in the last eight meetings between the two teams.

Here, Liverpool.com has picked out all of the information that you need to know, including the kick-off time, TV details, highlights and early team news.

What time is kick-off?

The match kicks off at 3pm in the UK, which is 7am Pacific Time and 10am Eastern Time. It is set to be played at Anfield, where Liverpool last played at the back end of the 2022-23 season, when they secured a 1-1 draw with Aston Villa in May thanks to a very late goal from Roberto Firmino, his last for the club at Anfield. The capacity of the stadium will be slightly reduced as work is completed on the expansion of the Anfield Road End.

Is the match on TV?

In the UK, the game is not televised due to the Saturday 3pm blackout. Therefore Reds fans living in the UK won't be able to see the game live. In the US, the game will be broadcast on NBC Sports, USA Network and for Spanish speakers living in the United States, Deportes En Vivo and Telemundo. Early team news

Klopp has no major issues going into the game against Bournemouth. Endo's debut will likely have to wait until the game against Newcastle on August 27. We could see the same starting XI that lined out against Chelsea.

Thiago Alcântara and Stefan Bajčetić are unavailable but closing in on a return according to Klopp. Tyler Morton is the only player currently injured for The Reds.

That means that the likes of Alisson Becker, Virgil van Dijk, Andy Robertson, Mohamed Salah and Diogo Jota should feature, while there will be home debuts for Alexis Mac Allister and Dominik Szoboszlai in front of the Reds crowd.
