BARCOLA STARS IN HARD-FOUGHT PSG WIN
Paris Saint-Germain overcame Kylian Mbappe’s absence as they beat 10-man Nice 2-1 to close in on a Ligue 1 record.
The imminently departing Mbappe was absent through injury on Wednesday at Allianz Riviera, but PSG got the job done thanks to quickfire first-half goals from Bradley Barcola and birthday boy Yoram Zague.
Nice had hit the post through Khephren Thuram early on, and they dragged themselves back into the contest when Mohamed-Ali Cho slammed home in the 32nd minute.
Jeremie Boga, Terem Moffi and substitute Gaetan Laborde went close to an equaliser, but Nice’s hopes of restoring parity took a blow when Melvin Bard saw red in the 75th minute.
Barcola struck the woodwork with a golden opportunity soon after, though champions PSG were not made to pay for that miss, and should they avoid defeat against Metz on Sunday, will become the first team in Ligue 1 history to go an entire campaign unbeaten on the road.

PSG win 2-1, and Nice's hopes of Champions League qualification are over!

A late booking for Rosario, who lunged in on Asensio.
PSG are almost over the line...

We're into stoppage time, of which there will be at least four minutes.
PSG have some defending to do as they fail to clear their lines from a corner, giving Nice another opportunity, with Laborde's cross cleared out for another dead-ball.
However, the second corner is a poor one, with Tenas able to gather it in.
PSG are looking to make their numerical advantage count now, and are keeping possession as they look to wind down this game and see the result out.
That being said, Zague has just overhit a basic cross, seeing a neat move come to nothing, and handing the initiative back to the hosts.

A late cameo for Soler, who is on in place of Ruiz, who has looked sharp.

A final switch for Nice, as Perraud comes in for Thuram, who hit the woodwork early on.
HOW HAS THAT NOT GONE IN?
That should have been 3-1! A cross from the right found its way through to Barcola, but with the goal gaping, he could only cushion a volley against the woodwork.
He's had a great night, but that was a bad miss! Will PSG live to regret it?
No luck for Bard! The referee's initial decision stands, and Nice are down to 10!

RED CARD!!! BARD IS SENT OFF!
Nice had been applying the pressure but, from a corner, PSG break through Barcola. Bard charges across and takes the winger out, and the referee reaches for a red card!
It seems harsh - will VAR hand him a reprieve?
Asensio looks to make an instant impact as he drives in from the right and angles a low, left-footed shot towards the target, but it trickles just wide.
Poor play from PSG as they get it all wrong playing out from the back, with Tenas' poor ball selling Vitinha short. The loose ball is picked up by Laborde, but on the turn, he cannot beat the goalkeeper.

Two changes for PSG, as Lee is replaced by former Real Madrid winger Asensio, while Ramos makes way for youngster Mayulu.

Brave, tireless work from Zaire-Emery, as he tracks all the way back to prevent Thuram - who has plenty of height advantage - getting cleanly onto the end of a cross from the right.
More superb wing play from Boga, who cuts inside dangerously from the left and leaves several PSG defenders in his wake. However, once it comes to taking on the shot, he gets it all wrong, skewing it out for a goal-kick.
