Orlando Pirates confirmed the decision by stating: “Both parties have agreed to amicably part ways following a meeting earlier today. On behalf of the extended Orlando Pirates family, we would like to thank Lesedi for his time at the Club and wish him all the best for the future.”
A Challenging Season for Kapinga
Kapinga, a talented midfielder with notable past performances, struggled to find a consistent role within the Pirates’ squad. Despite the initial excitement around his signing, Kapinga made just 13 appearances for the club in all competitions, with only two starts during the 2023/24 season.
