Leicester City 0-1 Bournemouth live reaction

Boos ring around the King Power as they are plunged deeper into relegation trouble.

That's now just one point from eight matches. They remain 19th, two points from safety.

City have 10 minutes to get something from this game.

City are throwing everybody forward, which means there will be counters for the visitors. Solanke steams into the box and is about to pull the trigger when Faes dives in front of him to block.

Barnes has injured himself in that last attack and he is going to have to be replaced. Tete is coming on.

City have been on top for the past 10 minutes but they need something more. Iheanacho gets a shot away in the box but again there's a foul in the build-up.

Meanwhile, since the subs, Soumare has switched on and is now running the show. More of that, please.

Barnes plays a one-two with Daka but as he shoots the referee blows his whistle for a foul.

But in making the save to deny him, Neto has hurt his elbow.

The subs have made a difference already, without really touching the ball.

Maddison drives into the box and his shot has to be tipped over by Neto.

The duo are on to big cheers as they replace Vardy and Ricardo.

Maddison goes to the right.

It's weak from Amartey to get shrugged off the ball by Solanke, who then forces Iversen into a save from a tight angle. The rebound is blocked by the City bodies.

It's all Bournemouth.

It's pinball from a Bournemouth corner and City somehow keep the ball out of the net.

At the other end, Vardy's cross to the back post nearly finds Barnes. That's City's best moment for a good 40 minutes, but they should be 2-0 down.

Castagne and Amartey miss headers and that allows Billing to set up Solanke. He dances past Faes but his shot is saved by Iversen's leg.

Surprisingly, there have been no changes.

Really poor. City don't look like they know what to do. They can't get the ball out of their own half.

And then Maddison makes a mistake on which Billing pounces.

Well, hang on, Soumare feeds Maddison in the box, he spins and gets a shot away that is deflected over. Nothing comes of the corner.

City need to get to the break and change things. It's been really bad for the past 30 minutes.

It's a disaster for Maddison and Billing scores.

Maddison gets the ball around 40 yards out from his own goal and tries to play a back pass to Iversen. It falls well short, and Billing gets there ahead of the keeper to finish.

It's deserved for Bournemouth. City look like they have no idea what they're doing.

An early sub for Bournemouth, who bring Ouattara off to be replaced by Tavernier. O'Neil has been shouting at Ouattara all game, so clearly wasn't happy with how he was performing.

It's been really poor from City for the past few minutes. They can't get out of their own half.

And now the scores have gone round with West Ham and Wolves in front. It's tense.

Ouattara is picked out on the left and plays a first-time cross into Solanke, who is able to turn inside the box. He shoots wide when he perhaps should have done better.

City clear a corner but only to Billing on the edge of the box, and his effort has to be turned around the post by Iversen.

Solanke's back-heel finds Billing in the box but Kristiansen throws himself in front of the shot to block it.

Meanwhile, Maddison has already been more involved today than he was on Tuesday. That's a good sign for City.

City take a quick throw to get forward with Maddison teeing up Ricardo on the edge of the box. He's closed out, but then Castagne runs onto it, his shot going past the post. Barnes nearly got a nick on it to divert it goalwards.

Iversen opts to go long and after Mepham nods it back to Neto, both Maddison and Vardy turn around and have a go at the Dane.

Meanwhile, Maddison works it well to get Ricardo on the ball, his cross finding Barnes, who doesn't get the connection right, the ball bobbling through to Neto.

Kristiansen gives away a free-kick on the edge of the area and Billing connects sweetly on the dead ball, clipping the outside of the post. Iversen would not have got close to it.

Faes lets a back-pass run to Iversen, not realising Solanke is just behind him, and the Dane has to win a tackle with the Bournemouth striker before launching up the pitch.

Kristiansen plays an excellent forward ball into Barnes' feet, the winger running inside in a switcheroo with Maddison.

The ball eventually finds its way to Ricardo, and Mepham just beats Vardy to the header.

City are shooting towards the Kop in the first half.
