Harshit returns to the attack. Full and quick, Buttler drills to long on for a single. Executes the yorker to perfection, Ashwin manages to jam to the offside for a single. A double off the last ball, six runs from the over.

Varun Chakravarthy into the attack. Ashwin lobs one to midwicket for a single. Buttler misses the reverse sweep, appeals from Varun but umpire declines. Review taken. Impact is outside off, Buttler survives. Four!! Ashwin gets a thick edge on his shot, runs past third man for a boundary.

Starc returns to the attack. Four! Buttler lofts the first one over mid off for a boundary. A foot from Andre Russell at the deep midwicket fence saves a boundary for KKR. Eight runs from the over.

RR 101/4 in 9 overs

Narine continues. Appeals for LBW, umpire says no but KKR opt to review. WICKET!! Its three reds on ball tracking and Jurel is gone.

Ashwin in at 6. Takes a review for a wide down leg first up. Is successful in his pursuit.

Harshit continues. Six!! Full on the pads, Parag lofts it over square leg for a boundary. Four!! Outside off this time, creams the punch through the offside. Couple of singles to follow. WICKET!! Parag looks to loft one down the ground, mistimes it and Russell takes a good catch to send the dangerous batter back.

Harshit Rana into the attack. Buttler gets a single to short midwicket. WICKET!! Samson mistimes his lofted shot straight to mid on. Big wicket!

Vaibhav continues. Four!! Fuller in length, Samson lofts it over mid on for a boundary. Four!! Two in a row, through midwicket for another boundary. Good comeback from Vaibhav, just two runs from the remaining four balls.

Starc continues. Samson guides a full ball to third man for a single. Four!! Too full, Buttler drives through extra cover for four. Four!! Short and wide, Buttler cuts it through point for another boundary. Chance! Starc gets Samson’s edge, falls just ahead of Varun at short third. Was a dropped catch that.

Vaibhav Arora into the attack. Buttler gets a single to mid on. Four!! Room on the offside, Jaiswal lofts it straight back over the bowler for four. 50 IPL sixes for Jaiswal.

Chance! Jaiswal looks to loft one over mid on, just out of reach of Varun Chakravarthy, the ball runs away for four. WICKET!! Change of angle does the trick. Full and swinging away, he edges it straight to slip.

Jos Buttler in the impact sub for RR. He opens along with Yashasvi Jaiswal. Vaibhav Arora in as the impact player for KKR.

Trent Boult into the attack and gets punished with Narine smashing through the mid-wicket but the Eden Gardens stands up to applaud a magnificent innings from Narine as Boult cleans him up with a brilliant yorker.

Russell falls and it’s not his night today as Narine is calling his shots. Avesh Khan strikes and there is some much pressure release for Rajasthan. Narine, although executes a brilliant boundary through backward point.

Sunil Narine scored his first career hundred during the IPL 2024 match between the Kolkata Knight Riders and Rajasthan Royals at Eden Gardens on Tuesday.

KKR 184/3 in 16 Overs

Chahal is back into the attack and Narine gets to his highest T20 score by smashing the googly over long-off followed by a boundary straight down the ground. Incredible batting as Narine smacks another six and gets to his century in 49 balls.

KKR 161/3 in 15 Overs

Russell takes charge as he smashes Sen for a boundary over backward point and then Narine keeps going, taking advantage of the width for another boundary. 15 runs from the over as Russell nails Sen through the covers.

KKR 146/3 in 14 Overs

Ashwin has been expensive tonight as he finishes with 4-0-49-0. Luck is on Narine’s shoulders as even a mis-hit has found a space with the ball not landing in the fielder’s hands. 

KKR 133/3 in 13 Overs

Chahal getting a bit more purchase with a slider and the leg-spinner strikes by trapping the KKR skipper. A review has been burnt and it was plumb at the very first instance.

Narine approaches another half-century as Raghuvanshi motors on. Ashwin doing his job with a review being taken for a wide ball and it was a wide. Narine gets to his fifty with a six in 29 balls and the 100 comes up. 

KKR 89/1 in 9 Overs

The excellence of Raghuvanshi is out there as he smashes Chahal for a boundary through the backward point. The technique, the timing, just admire! Sunil Narine clears the boundary for a maximum and the West Indian might be slow but he he is not done!

Spin from both ends as Ashwin enters into the attack. The veteran spinner challenges Raghuvanshi with his tricky variations but Narine finds a couple of boundaries. Rajasthan’s fielding has been under scanner as the 50-run partnership comes up.

First signs of spin and it’s Yuzvendra Chahal rolling his arms after the PowerPlay. Raghuvanshi is relying on timing and a flick for a boundary was the top of the shot.

Kuldeep Sen into the attack but it was the Avesh’s stunning catch that removed Salt. Raghuvanshi is playing with freedom and has managed to find the gaps through the off-side. But Rajasthan aces the PowerPlay. despite Narine smashing a six a boundary.

Rajasthan Royals have been so good in the PowerPlay and Narine is struggling for timing. Raghuvanshi, however, is getting the runs with some sublime batting and fetching back to back boundaries. 

KKR 26/1 in 4 Overs

Rajasthan Royals have been fantastic with their bowling and Avesh Khan takes an excellent catch in his follow through to the left as Salt falls. A brilliant catch! Narine drills a boundary through the backward point and he is at his best.

KKR 20/0 in 3 Overs

Trent Boult at his very best and he is not giving any room. Narine is cramped and so as Salt. Swing is the key and who better than Boult knows it!

Avesh Khan tests Sunil Narire with a lovely bouncer but then the batsman takes the aerial route with a clean swing of the bat for a boundary.

Riyan Parag puts down a dolly and Salt was dropped. This was a poor, casual approach from Parag. Brilliant over from Boult and we need to wait and watch how much the drop catch will cost.
