Juniors perform well in GDL
The Kaizer Chiefs development teams won three out of their four matches against Rosina Sedibane at the Village on Saturday, in the latest round of the SAFA Gauteng Development League (GDL).
The U13 team got Amakhosi off to a flying start, winning 5-0 in the opening fixture. The U15s also won by a five-goal margin, hammering home six goals to the one of their opponents,
The only blemish on a successful day saw the U17s lose a close-run tussle by 3-2. The U19s, however, quickly restored Amakhosi superiority with a 2-1 victory in the final match of an entertaining series of games.
This coming weekend sees a double-header, with the Chiefs development teams travelling to the Randburg Sports Grounds to play Randburg AFC on Saturday, 27 July, kicking off at 09:00.
The following day, Sunday, 28 July, North West University visit the Kaizer Chiefs Village for the next round of games.
